Black Oak might not have the largest selection of pre-owned books around. But it does have infinitely better service than its competitors. Not only have the folks behind the desk quite possibly heard of the book you're looking for, they may also have even read it. And they don't treat you like an idiot for asking where to find a book. In fact, Black Oak's clerks have even been known to help customers hunt through the store's inventory, which also includes new books, to find their desired reading material. Customers also can browse the store's used-book selection through the Advanced Book Exchange (just visit blackoakbooks.com to find the link). And if you're trying to unload some old books of your own, Black Oak will offer store credit for them as long as they're in decent shape (no underlining or mold, please).
